The sun rises unexpected,
And then sets.
The moon’s resurrected,
But fades with no regrets.

A rose has bloomed,
But always dies.
All beauty’s doomed
Before your eyes.

If you were here beside me
On this cold and lonely night
I’d thank my lucky stars
And hold you very tight.

If you were here beside me
Your kiss would feel so sweet
And when I look into your eyes
My life would be complete.

If you were here beside me
I’d hold you close to my heart
And pray to the heavens above
That we’d never, ever part.

Only if you were here beside me.

What have I done to make you so indifferent towards me.
I once believed you loved me,
As I so deeply do.
But now I don’t know what to think.

Sometimes the pain is so unbearable
It feels like my heart is being torn apart
To be feasted upon by the demons of love.

I look at a picture of you
And it’s blurred by my tears.
Where will it ever end
All the love I’ve gathered over the years?

What I thought we once had
Seems to be less than a memory.
I think of you, it makes me so sad
That you’re not by my side.

When you lose someone you love, you must put the memory in a small corner of your heart and cut that piece of your heart out. Don’t throw it out, just separate it. If you keep it attached it will consume your entire life. Never sew that piece permanently back on. Just indulge in it occasionally for piece of mind, and to reassure yourself that it is still there.

Love lures you into it’s trap
With sweet and uncontrollable desires
And then closes with a snap
On the unsuspecting heart.

Something what seems too good to be true, probably is and can’t last for very long.

If love is just a simple word, why does it feel so good to hear it and hurt so much when deprived of?

Better not to love at all than to have your heart torn out by the roots.

I look at the beauty
Surrounding my home,
And I wonder why
God gave birth to this
For human enjoyment
And then takes away
A human life
So that he cannot.
All things must come to an end,
But why so soon.

Why must we die? Do we die to let others live, or do we live so others can die? Do we die because we have done wrong or because we have done good? Must we die to let new-borns in? Then why do children die? A better question is where do we go after death? Do we stay in the ground to rot forever? Are we forced to choose between Heaven and Hell or are we reincarnated as an animal? If reincarnation is a possibility, and I die again, then why must I suffer two deaths? If I commit suicide have I done better or worse? Why must I die at all? Why can we not stay and be with our loved ones? I wish I knew when a person was going to die, so I could spend as much time with them as possible. If I die, I would like to be told when, so I can tell everyone that I love them. If it were up to me, I would make everyone live forever, and love forever.

            I will Love you forever

We are slowly destroying our world,
Which in turn destroys our lives.
We hang animals on our walls
To prove that we are superior.
But animals do not pollute the air,
Or kill their mates,
Or destroy the ozone,
Or beat their children when they cry.
In my opinion, animals are the superior beings.
Humans are the beasts.
If we could be more like our wildlife kingdom,
We would have wealth beyond riches,
We would have eternal life.

Love is the greatest gift you can give;
To a child, friend, or lover.
Never to be misused nor abused,
Else it becomes senseless and dirty.

The Garden of Roses and Thorns
I dream of standing in a garden,
Surrounded by beautiful flowers
But deprived of all my senses.
Unable to hold the delicate petals
In my hands.
To smell the sweet fragrance
Of the budding blossoms,
Or indulge in the sight
Of the tender roses
Swaying in the gentle breeze.
And then I awaken
Clutching my pillow
With pictures of you
Dancing through my head.

Living In A Dream
I believe that good inevitably,
Overcomes evil.
I believe there is only one person,
For everyone.
I believe Love,
Will conquer all.
I believe in kindred souls,
United.
I believe in Life…Love,
Everlasting.
But, I’m living in a dream,
Because I believe
In you and me.

Tragedy and despair touch every one of us, and tries to harden us against life. Sometimes it makes us want to give up. But what are we if we give up? What do we become? Alone…desperate…complacent? The only failure in life is if we give up trying. If we close off our hearts and minds to potential failure, we lock out the joy and fulfilment that comes with success. We have to believe that things will improve. Believe in that one distant star, shining way up ahead and know that it will get closer, brighter. What else do we have if we give up that hope?

Night Star
I walk alone
On this clear and quiet night
Gazing at the stars
Dancing with delight.

I dream of holding you
But I realise my plight.
The only dream I have
Is of that star tonight.

But as I see each star,
That shines with such a light
I see a love reflected,
In your eyes, shining bright.

Only you are in charge of your own destiny. Only you can dictate the life you lead. When someone takes that freedom away from you, you are no longer a unique person. You merely become a reflection of that dictator, living a part of their life.

When you truly fall in love with someone, it is more than the physical beauty that keeps the love strong. A person’s outer beauty may be the first glimpse of that love but it isn’t the deciding factor. It’s a combination of inner and outer beauty, and every person’s idea of beauty is different. Mostly, you fall in love with their soul, the part of the person that makes them who they are. Physical beauty can be changed by a number of factors, the least of them age. The soul never changes. You may change your attitude or your lifestyle, but your soul always stays the same. The soul may get soiled with hate, deception, tragedies, but it can always be wiped clean by a gentle, loving hand. It then stands to reason that your love for someone can never change. Your attitude towards them may change, but the love itself will never dissipate nor degrade. True love lasts forever.

To Those I Love
When I am gone, release me, let me go.
I have so many things to see and do.
You mustn't tie yourself to me with tears.
Be happy that we had so many years.
I gave you my Love. You can only guess
How much you gave to me in happiness.
I thank you for the love you have shown,
But now it's time I travelled on alone.
So grieve a while for me, if grieve you must
Then let your grief be comforted by trust.
It's only for a while that we must part
So bless the memories with your heart.
I won't be far away, for life goes on.
So if you need me, call and I will come
Though you can't see or touch me, I'll be near.
And if you listen with your heart, you'll hear
All of my love around you soft and clear.
And then, when you must come this way alone
I'll greet you with a smile, and welcome you home.

We've all heard this story before.
It sounds all too familiar.
The tale of a man and a woman
Whose passion is endless.

Dying to be together,
Living apart.
The other man,
The other life.
The complications go on,
The heartache continues.
Nothing changes.

But something else lives there.
A spark,
A gleaming of hope,
That things can, will change.

We've all heard this story before.
A man and a woman in love.
But it sounds a little different
When it's you and I.
